“Invisible” effects were created for the motion picture “The Secrets of Jonathan Sperry.” In the example below, actor Robert Guillaume glances down to his right. The director wanted to remove the glance, so another section of the shot (where he was looking forward) was found and used to replace the glance. The eyes were seamlessly blended so the replacement was completely invisible..


	In another example during this sequence, the lighting on the wall behind the actor changed during some of the takes, and was not noticed until editing. The background was replaced to match the other takes, and was tracked into the shot. The actor was rotoscoped where he passed in front of the background. Again, the effect was completely invisible in the final shot.
